With boys' and girls' rosters both growing, Haughton wrestling is building something for the long haul.
Walk into the wrestling room after school and you'll hear it before you see it — the thud of takedowns and a coach counting reps. Buc wrestling is growing, and fast.
Both the boys' and girls' rosters are deeper than they've ever been, a sign of a program investing in the long game.
"We're building toughness that carries into every other sport in this school," the coaching staff said.
Duals season tips off in December. The room will be ready.
